Top 3 Ski Resorts in Serbia
In past few years ski resorts have slowly but steadily become one of the most recognizable features of Serbia tourism.
Since the winter season is slowly approaching, we decided to make a list of top 3 ski resorts in Serbia, where you can enjoy and experience the magic of winter for reasonable prices!
1. Kopaonik - is number one ski resort in Serbia (also the most luxurious one). With highest peak "Pancicev Vrh" (2017m) it represents the largest and best known ski resort. It offers wide range of prepared runs for all categories of skiers, from beginners to highly skilled ones. Furthermore, for those one who enjoy skiing at night, it has prepared, lighted run called "Malo Jezero" in the very center of the resort. Due to the fact that it has 200 sunny days during the year, it received its second name "Mountain of the Sun." The price of the daily ski pass is between 20 and 30€ (depends on the period of the winter season).
2. Stara Planina (Old Mountain) with Babin Zub Ski Resort - Located near the city of Knjazevac, it represents the largest mountain in east Serbia and still unspoiled ski resort. Due to that fact, each year is becoming more and more popular among domestic and foreign tourists. For almost five months, Old Mountain is covered with snow, which makes it ideal place for winter activities with 13km of slopes available for skiing and snowboarding. The price of the daily ski pass is between 15 and 20€ (depends on the period of the winter season).
3. Zlatbior - (favorite summer and winter playground), located in Western part of Serbia, together with Kopaonik, represents the most visited ski resort in Serbia during the winter season. Ski resort named "Tornik" is the biggest and most popular ski resort located on this awe-inspiring mountain. It offers 7km of prepared runs (or slopes) for both, skiers and snowboarders. The price of the daily ski pass is between 15 and 20€ (depends on the period of the winter season).
